One year after its creation, the Adan publishes its first annual report
The Association for the Development of Digital Assets (Adan) has published its first-ever annual report. The report covers all of the association’s activity in the year 2020.
2020 was initially synonymous with growth for the entire digital asset industry. The increasing institutionalisation of crypto-assets, regulatory efforts by states to ensure investor protection and the exponential growth of new innovative projects have confirmed the revolution that digital assets and blockchain technologies represent.
In this context, Adan has progressively established itself as the reference actor to represent all the sector professionals in France by federating more than 50 professionals of the sector.
Created itself in 2020 with the support of its eleven founding members, the work undertaken by the association has concerned a diversity of subjects such as :
- French and European regulation of digital assets;
- The understanding of digital assets by traditional players;
- The financing of crypto companies in France;
- The support of players during the COVID-19 crisis.
Organised into two committees and seven working groups, Adan’s work has allowed it to bring the industry’s voice on all these subjects to the authorities, politicians and traditional players such as banks.
In short, 2020 was a particularly intense year for Adan, but above all, a promising one. This year illustrates the immense potential of the digital asset industry and broadens the perspectives and subsequent actions of the association. Since 2020, the team has grown, and Adan continues to develop to bring the French crypto-asset industry to the international stage as a European leader.
