Missions
Adan is a French professional association for crypto-assets companies and blockchain technologies. Our main mission is to encourage the development of the “crypto” industry in France and in Europe. With more than 160 members, Adan is the most important national federation dedicated to crypto companies.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Institutional Relations, the Public Affairs Manager is a policy and legislative expert who participates in the defense of the association’s and the sector’s interests in the public sphere. He/she is the reference for legislative and regulatory developments in the sector, analyzes the political agenda and proposes recommendations in line with the needs of the association’s members.
Within Adan he/she will be mainly responsible for:
- Monitor and analyze the political agenda
- Follow the legislative and regulatory calendar
- Follow parliamentary discussions of interest to Adan
- Keep the database of public decision-makers up to date
- Analyze legislative texts and amendments, with the technical support of Adan’s legal department
- Provide useful information to the management in order to define the institutional policy and strategy of the association
- Map the key institutional actors in line with the strategy and action plan defined with the management
- Set up appointments and prepare them in advance
- Write appointment preparation notes
- Write policy analysis notes, positions and proposals, in accordance with the recommendations and technical analyses from the legal department.

Alongside the Adan team, you will be in daily contact with the managers of all the companies in the sector. You will quickly gain knowledge of the French and European ecosystem of digital assets, the issues associated with this industry (stablecoins, decentralized finance, relations with other economic agents, taxation and accounting, regulatory issues…), the French and European legislative processes and the world of associations. Finally, as part of a human-sized team (5 people), you will have an important role that will be highly visible and valued within the industry.
Compétences
- (Essential) Mastery of the functioning of the European institutions, of the parliamentary procedure and of the other actors of the territories
- Good general knowledge and interest in public affairs and public life
- Sharp sense of diplomacy, active listening, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to integrate into a consulting dynamic
- Very good writing skills, ability to summarize and analyze legal and technical files
- Rigor and reactivity in the follow-up of several files in parallel
- Ability to anticipate
- (Mandatory ) Fluency in English, written and oral

Ideally Brussels, otherwise Paris (44 rue de Cléry, 75002 Paris) with frequent travel.
Partial or complete remote work depending on the area of residence.
