The year 2020 looks more and more like the never-ending day. Here we are all re-confined, a new economic shock is expected, and new support measures as well. With the same effects?
On 12 November, Adan organised a webinar to present the results of its survey on the relationship between the banking and financial sector and the crypto-blockchain industry.
On November 12, 2020, Adan organizes an online webinar to present the results of its sector survey on the state of relations between the banking and financial sector and the crypto-blockchain industry. This event will shed light on the difficulties encountered by the players in terms of banking, the reasons for such obstacles and the solutions recommended by our members to overcome them.
During its webinar held on October 7, Adan presented and analyzed the European Commission’s regulatory proposals applicable to “crypto-assets”, published as part of its Digital Finance Package on September 24. The Association also expressed its concerns about the potential threats these projects pose to innovation. Adan proposes solutions to improve these frameworks and thus promote the competitiveness of the European crypto industry.
Following the publication of the Commission’s regulatory proposals aimed at regulating the digital assets (MiCA) and security token markets (pilot scheme), the Adan is in a position to welcome the positive points of this text as well as to warn of the risks of certain provisions.
It is the end of the summer, and soon the 3rd quarter that the Adan will close at the end of the month. So, at the time of the beginning of the school year, Adan takes stock!
Adan is recruiting an intern in writing and communication in order to enhance the content produced by the team to facilitate understanding and extend the visibility and audience of the Association.

Adan is answering the European Commission’s consultation on the next revision of the rules applicable to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism (LCB-FT), scheduled for January 2021. The Association takes a general position on this occasion.
